ARTIST STATEMENT

My artistic goal explores the intimate intersections between the visible and the invisible. The patterns that lie in spaces that we cannot readily see.  Through a practice centered in embodied textile-based sculpture, I seek to find connection between pattern and the language of touch.  I see my work as both an archive and an offering: a way to carry forward generational knowledge, care, and connection through material form while acknowledging the unseen.
